Thom Vollenweider is a nationally published photographer who owns and operates a gallery in Flower Hill Mall in Del Mar and a photography studio in San Diego, California.
Vollenweider has worked throughout Europe as a Staff Photographer for United Press International as well as a contributing photographer to several national magazines such as TIME, LIFE and Sports Illustrated.
Thom has also spent several years working for the NFL as the team photographer for the SD Chargers and has covered 5 Super Bowls. His photojournalism approach and unique style of capturing the “decisive moment” has made him one of the most recognized wedding photographers in California.
Recently, Thom Vollenweider was featured on KSND-39TV, a 30 minute live broadcast interview that covered his 35+ years career. In 1995, Thom won a prestigious award for “Best Sports Photography” from the World Sports Foundation in Japan.
